FAQ's

Q: How far in advance should I submit a booking request for performance?

A: A MINIMUM of 1 month in advance. We will do our best to accommodate all requests but can promise availability of performers

Q: How many performers will be available for my performance request?

A: The number of performers will depend on availability of each of our community members who often volunteer their time to perform when time permits. The sooner you submit your request the sooner we can confirm performers. Other factors include costumes(number available), & shape/space of venue.

Q: Do you travel outside of the Bay Area for performance requests?

A: We are currently only taking local requests but please do still reach out, We might be able to accommodate your travel request depending on additional information provided during our initial conversation. Please contact Ting@mpwrdcollective.org for more detailed information

Q: I am interested in joining MPWRD's multicultural performance group. How can I join?

A: We currently are holding rehearsals on Monday at Doyle Hollis Park Emeryville, CA from 6:30-8PM and all are welcome to come and check out what we do before joining. We will be moving to an indoor location before the cold/rainy season.

Q: Are there any requirements for joining the performance group?

A: Their are no dance requirements for individuals and all dance levels are welcome. Group membership is $20.00 a month and gives you unlimited access to our Filipino Folk Dance classes on Sundays so that you can continue to develop your dance skills.
