Along the main road north of Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, there are refineries sprinkled down the road and road side store fronts selling large white bags. Here in this are you will find Authentic Pasuquin Sea Salt still being made in the traditional way spending 12-14 hours heating sea water in shallow vats until coarse salt begins to form. This salt is both great for cooking as well as ritual practices.
